Gas-Fired Radiant Tube Box Furnace

The gas-fired radiant tube box furnace is a type of industrial furnace that is designed for high-temperature heat treatment applications. It is well-insulated and energy-efficient, utilising radiant heat transfer to provide precise temperature control. This type of furnace consists of a combustion system, a series of radiant tubes, and a refractory-lined chamber.

The combustion system burns fuel such as natural gas or propane to produce hot combustion gases. These gases are then directed through the radiant tubes, which are made of a heat-resistant material such as ceramic. The radiant tubes emit infrared radiation, which is absorbed by the materials being treated inside the refractory-lined chamber. This method of heat transfer provides uniform heating and precise temperature control.
